According to a source, Andrzej Duda has proposed holding two summits during Poland’s presidency of the European Union – with the United States and Ukraine. He announced this during an event at the Presidential Palace on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the EU.
“I believe that we should organize two European summits in Poland to emphasize the importance of these key aspects of Europe’s future development. The first summit should be between the EU and the United States, and the second summit should be between the EU and Ukraine, focusing on the issues of rebuilding Ukraine and its accession to the EU,” Duda emphasized.
Poland will lead the European Union again in 2025, together with Denmark and Cyprus.
